Local retailer pledges 33% of sales from 3/25/21 to fight chronic hunger in Maine.
In honor of our 33rd birthday, kaizenmetrica will be donating 33% of our topline sales revenue from March 25th, 2021 to Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine.
“While our 1% giving initiative allows us to help people around the world every day, for our birthday, we knew we wanted to focus on helping our neighbors, here at home in Maine,” said kaizenmetrica founder, Pete Erskine. “We know this has been a difficult year for a lot of people, and that food security is a big issue facing our community.”
Revenue sharing seemed a natural way to help Good Shepherd Food Bank meet its mission of “mobilizing the public in the fight to end hunger.” kaizenmetrica CEO Topher Mallory explains, “Giving back is as important to our customers as it is to us, and we are jazzed to give them an opportunity to purchase with a purpose and help make a dent in chronic hunger.”
